Thing #3 Instant Messaging
This morning Pat Gaines and I had a lot of fun chatting back and forth with each other. The reference IM was also up and Toby and Bruce sent their greetings to us. It helps having a buddy to bounce things off with. I set up my own Meebo account, but don't know if I'll be spending all that much time IMing, but you never know. I never thought I'd use my cell phone in ways that I do either.

I find that IM is very handy when I'm working at my desk and need to check info or facts with someone else in the library. Like when I work on 10 Things prep, I can always find Jenn, Toby, or Rich online if I have a question.
Don't be surprised if you find yourself IMing from one side of the room to the other! One of my favorite family photos is this one. And yes, we have been known to IM (and even video chat) with each other from sofa to sofa!
